It is an honor to present the proud and history of Filipino heroism and soldiery let us back to see how the AFP has changed through time to become the professional organization of today.
We also look back to understand that through the roles of the afp changed, what has remained is the essence of serving and protecting the Filipino People.
Special Issue (2011)
This issue of the the Soldier of All entitled Valor and Sacrifice the AFP's History of Service to the Filipino People aims to show the historical roots and evolution of the AFP. All to show that the AFP is always present to uphold its sworn duty of protecting the people and the state.
This is to dedicated all men and women to know that they are the successors of hour hereos' cause to freedom and prosperity. And also to all Filipinos to whom every soldiers service and sacrifice is dedicated.

IPSP Bayanihan
AFP IPSP emphasizes that the primary focus of the AFP in the conduct of its operations is Winning the Peace and not just defeating the enemy. In order to win the peace, the AFP IPSP shall be anchored on two strategic approaches: The Whole of Nation Approach and the People-Centered Security/Human Security Approach.
